After a strong start to the 2022–23 season, Arsenal is hoping to strengthen their team during the January transfer window.

In preparation for a potential January move, it has been claimed that Arsenal has begun speaking with the agency of offensive midfielder Jesper Lindstrom of Eintracht Frankfurt. After nearly losing out on bringing in Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa on deadline day, the Gunners are anticipated to return to the market immediately this winter as Mikel Arteta and Edu want to add some further talent.
Arsenal has had an incredible start to the season, winning six of their first seven Premier League games.
However, it is acknowledged that if the Gunners are to finish this season strong, some more depth may be needed.
Arsenal has reportedly spoken with the agents of Frankfurt star Lindstrom to negotiate a move, according to the German daily Bild.

The 22-year-old joined from Danish club Brondby in the summer of 2021, and he has since begun to display his talent in Germany with the Europa League champions from the previous campaign.
This season, Lindstrom has made 10 appearances and scored three goals in all competitions, including the Bundesliga, Champions League, and DFB Pokal.
For Eintracht this season, he has also played three different positions, including offensive midfield and either wing.
In their search for a new attacker, Arsenal is specifically searching for that type of versatility.
The Gunners put up a lot of effort this summer to try and acquire some extra firepower, but they eventually failed after being priced out of bids for Pedro Neto and Moussa Diaby.

Raphinha, a winger for Barcelona, was also the target of an offer from Arsenal before moving to Camp Nou, but Leeds wanted to force an auction for the Brazilian.
Lindstrom is still hoping to play in the Premier League, and Transfermarkt now values him at roughly £15 million.
The elusive striker, who has one goal in five international appearances for his country, is not the only Dane playing in the Bundesliga who has recently been linked with a move to north London.
Jonas Wind, a forward for Wolfsburg who can play as a second striker or a striker, has made it known that his aim is to play for Arsenal.
The 23-year-old has five goals in 15 games and is already well-known in his own nation.
Wind said he would sign for Arsenal at the drop of a hat in an interview with Bulinews.com.

“If we look into the future, Arsenal would be a dream destination for me, as it has always been my favourite club. In general, I think the Premier League is the best league in the world, and it would be exciting to play there,”
“But as I said, that’s not what I’m focusing on at the moment. I’m doing well here in Wolfsburg, it’s a good club for me, and the Bundesliga is a great league to play in.”
