According to rumours, Arsenal has made seven players transferable in order to earn money for fresh acquisitions.
The Gunners are once again reassembling their team after narrowly missing a return to Champions League play last season.
The north London club invested around £160 million on new hires last summer, including players like Ben White and Aaron Ramsdale.
They came very close to finishing in the top four with the new-look club, but north London rival Tottenham prevailed.
They have already spent £115 million this summer on the acquisitions of Brazilian winger Marquinhos, Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City, Fabio Vieira from Porto, and goalkeeper Matt Turner. And their latest signing in Zinchenko.
Targets and who they are offloading!
According to reports, the Arsenal are optimistic in their ability to capture Youri Tielemans from Leicester City for £30 million. The club, however, reportedly plans to unload as many as seven players, including record-breaking acquisition Nicolas Pepe, in order to raise money for more acquisitions.
The winger, who cost £72 million to acquire from Lille in 2019, has fallen short of expectations and could be allowed go.
Bernd Leno, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira, Pablo Mari, and Reiss Nelson are also on the market.
With the exception of Pepe and Leno, all of the aforementioned players had loan stints during the previous season; the club has since put them on the transfer list.
According to the source, the club has not yet received any serious bids for the players on its transfer list.
While Bellerin hoped his loan transfer to Real Betis would have been made permanent, goalkeeper Leno has drawn attention from Fulham.
While Torreira desired to remain at Fiorentina, the Italian club declined to match the price stipulated in the option to purchase clause included as part of his loan deal.
The transfer window is far from over for Arsenal as they want to bring in atleast 2 more signing while offloading and loaning multiple players, they start their premier league season against Crystal Palace on August 6th
