It is official, Arsenal have signed Manchester City star Oleksandr Zinchenko for a fee in the region of 30 millions as the versatile leftback wanted “Arsenal and only Arsenal, No one else”.
Arsenal have agreed a £30m deal with Manchester City to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko, which includes £2m in add-ons, and the transfer is likely to be completed this week.
The Ukraine international is expected to fly back to England from City’s pre-season tour of the US in the coming days to complete the move. A contract until June 2026 has been agreed, according to David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano.
Zinchenko is mostly a left-back for City but generally plays further forward for Ukraine, He also prefers to play in the midfield many a times, so Arsenal would have options with the versatile 25-year-old.
Reports are emerging that Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to leave Manchester City’s training camp later today in order to finalise his move to Arsenal. His medical at London Colney is expected to take place in the next few days. This one is only a matter of time.
Zinchenko will add something Arsenal lack – a busy, technically gifted ball player who can comfortably operate in two problem positions with great composure. Like Jesus, he is leaving City at 25 years old with four titles, and a hunger to prove himself.

Zinchenko was only convinced by the move due to the ability to link back up with Arteta. Arsenal’s new boy Gabriel Jesus is also a close, personal friend of Zinchenko and it’s believed the signing of the Brazilian also contributed to Zinchenko swapping blue for red.
Oleksandr Zinchenko only gave the green light to Arsenal because of Mikel Arteta, who is in love with the player. As with Gabriel Jesus, their relationship from working together at Manchester City was very strong & it’s been a big help.
