Time to take the competition seriously, in the semifinal match up of the EFL cup has been said and the remaining giant teams will face each other to go through the finals, although it will not be an easy task for them.
Now that the semifinal stages of the EFL cup is here, the only for remaining teams in the competition are Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham.

Chelsea also made quick use of Brentfort as they managed to win 2-0 comfortably to advance into the semifinals of the tournament.
Although having 15 shots on target throughout the entire match, Chelsea had to rely on an 80th minute own goal and an 85th minute penalty to proceed to the next stages of the tournament.
Liverpool vs Leicester City: Onto the Penalties.
Next stop was Liverpool vs Leicester City who played out and exhilarating 3-3 match which had to be decided by a penalty shootout.
Liverpool managed to have 22 shots in the match while Leicester City registered only 8 with Jamie Vardy scoring two goals for them.
An literal last minute 90+5 gold from M. Takumi ensure that the game went on to a penalty shootout where Liverpool managed to win 5-3 to go through to the semifinals.
A First Half Match between Tottenham and West Ham
For the last fixtures of the EFL Cup quarter finals, Tottenham went against West Ham where all three goals of the entire match came in the first half as per managed to beat West Ham 2-1.
The Semi Final Draw: Who’s Playing Who?
And the latest draw of the EFL Cup semi final are now here and we know that Arsenal will play against Liverpool whereas Chelsea will take on Tottenham Hotspur.
The first leg of the semi finals will be played at the Emirates stadium similarly the first leg of the match between Chelsea and Spurs will be played at the Stamford bridge.
Arsenal face a tough task ahead of them in Liverpool as it looks like to be the most exciting match on the card in the entire tournament with Arsenal in Red Hot form both in the Premier League and the EFL Cup so far and Liverpool are looking dominating like ever.
Chelsea face and relatively easier task compared to Arsenal vs Liverpool as they face Tottenham Hotspur who sits the lowest between all four teams in the tournament while Chelsea are right at the top portion of the table competing against Manchester City for the number one position.
The first leg of the semi finals will be played on 4th of January while the second leg will be played on the 11th of January. It will be interesting to see if the competition goes ahead regarding all the Covid-19 concerns and all the Premier League match is getting postponed.
