Aston Martin has released a teaser video, introducing the brand new Aston Martin V12 Vantage. The release stated: “You’ve heard about it. You will certainly hear it coming. V12 Vantage. It’s not just a Limited Edition, it’s a Final Edition. Returning in 2022.”
From the release, we can tell that the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage will deliver a savage engine noise.
The latest model is expected to use Aston Martin’s twin-turbo 5.2-liter V-12 engine, generating 690-horsepower. We can also find the identical engine in their V12 Speedster.
Tobias Moers, the CEO of Aston Martin, previously stated that the V12 engine will not hold a long-term future for the brand. And so, the engine is set to be replaced with powertrains by AMG.
The official release stated this model is a “final edition” rather than a “limited edition”. This is a telling sign that the Aston Martin Vantage could be the last model with the V12 engine mentioned.
