The 2021 Ballon D’or men’s list have finally been announced and there are some big expected names alongside some surprise inclusions which complete this list. let’s take a look at the players which are included for the 2021 balloon d’or
PLAYERS FROM SERIE A.

First and foremost, let’s take a look at the players from Serie A a that have been nominated for this list
Starting the list is a surprise nominee inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella, with not so surprised inclusion of Italian giants Juventus defending duo Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini
Former AC Milan goalkeeper Donnarumma who currently plays for PSG is also included in this list. Along side his former teammate Simon Kjaer
The inter Milan star striker Lautaro Martinez complete the Serie A list with Inter Milan, AC Milanand Juventus all having two players nominated from their team.
PLAYERS FROM BUNDESLIGA

The German league Bundesliga has effectively the least number of players included in the 2021 list as both the predicted star strikers of the two German giant clubs are included in this list.
Erling haaland of Borussia Dortmund Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich who both had an amazing year are the only players from this league.

Fans were left with surprise at the exclusion of many star players like Joshua kimmich and Muller who were not included in the list.
ALL PLAYERS FROM PSG (LEAGUE 1)

With no surprises here, all the league 1 players who have been nominated in the list are from PSG.

The superstar duo of Mbappe and Neymar are included in the list, while the new star studded transfers of Donnarumma and Lionel Messi completes the list for the 4 man squad that represents the League 1 in this list
LA LIGA COMES IN SECOND

The league which has dominated Ballon d’Or for decades because of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is now following behind as the second best league in this list with five players nominated for the 2021 ballon Dor.

Real Madrid leads the majority with 2 players in Karim Benzema and Luka Modric included, while the hard working youngster Pedri represents Barcelona.
Luis Suarez represents Atletico Madrid while a new face Gerard Moreno represents Villarreal.
PREMIER LEAGUE ABSOLUTELY DOMINATES THE LIST

Premier league absolutely dominates this list with this league having more than DOUBLE the amount of players from any other league. The premier league is back on top after last few amazing dominating performances from the English clubs in European compititions.
UCL finalists Chelsea and Manchester City come in huge as both teams have 5 players representing them in the list.
Chelsea defender and a surprise nominee Cesar Azpilicueta starts the line for Chelsea as his midfield teammates Jorginho and Ngolo Kante makes number 2 and 3 while the new signing Romelu Lukaku heads the attack with an unlikely name in Mason Mount which has left fans wondering what he did to deserve that inclusion.
Ruben Dias represent the Defence for Manchester City while the youngster Phil Foden and the star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne forms the midfield

The flanks are well covered as both Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez represents the attack for City
Other players include the now out of form Harry Kane from Tottenham, and Mohammad Salah representing Liverpool
And ofcourse, the star Portuguese duo for Manchester United Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo completes the list, as all list would be incomplete without this name!
