LAST MINUTE PENALTY SAVE DRAMA RESCUES MANCHESTER UNITED!

A match that was exciting till the very last minute just ended as Manchester United manage to take all three points away from West ham at the London stadium.

West Ham took the early lead

The match started with a promising attack from Manchester United for the better half of the first half but it was West ham who drew the first blood as Benrahma’s shot took deflection from the new defender Rafael Varane and went to the opposite end of David de Gea in the 30th minute.

It only took Manchester United 5 minutes to make a comeback and it was none other than the main man himself: Cristiano Ronaldo who tucked away a brilliant cross from Bruno Fernandez.

The Portuguese spare combined once again for Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal which resulted in both of the teams drawing at half time.

This goal against West ham for Cristiano Ronaldo was his 4th since arriving in England for his second stint at Manchester United. That is four goals in three games!

Ronaldo was off with the flying start as he scored two goals in his first premier league game for Manchester United, followed by scoring once again few days later in the UEFA champions league against young boys which Manchester United ended losing due to a poor back pass from the substitute Jesse Lingard.

Lingard redeems himself!

Manchester United brought on Jesse Lingard as a substitute to a standing ovation from West ham fans due to his previous season on loan for them, managed to reading himself with a brilliant strike in the 88th minute to put Manchester United ahead against West ham in the dying minutes of the match.

LATE PENALTY DRAMA, AND AN AMAZING SAVE FROM DE GEA!

After Jesse Lingard’s goal, it looked like Manchester United had secured all three points against West ham but in the 93rd minute of the match Manchester United defender Luke Shaw had a handball converted into the penalty for West ham.

But it was Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea who came out as the hero as he saved the penalty of what was the last attack of the entire match and managed to get all 3 points for Manchester United.
